Store locum credentials on this device and get optional expiry reminders.

Document vault (Pro)

Keep indemnity, DBS, registration certificates, and similar files in LocumBook. Files stay on this device only — they are not included in Encrypted backup or cloud sync.

Open Settings → Document vault. This feature requires LocumBook Pro (a paywall appears if you are not subscribed).

What you can do

Tap Add and upload a PDF, PNG, JPEG, or Word file (.doc / .docx), up to 10 MB.
Pick a profession-aware title from the list, or add your own.
Optionally set an expiry date and turn on a per-document reminder (7, 14, 30, or 60 days before).
Share or email a document when a practice asks for it.

Notifications

Expiry reminders use a master toggle, Document expiry reminders, in Settings → Notifications. That toggle is independent of session reminders.

If the master toggle is off, per-document notify is locked.
Turning off session reminders does not cancel document alarms.

Storage and privacy

Files live in the app sandbox and are excluded from iCloud and Android auto-backup. They are not included in Encrypted backup or cloud sync.

Uninstalling the app or changing phones removes them.
Deleting your account wipes the vault.

Copy in the vault, Encrypted backup screen, this manual, and the Privacy Policy explains that vault files are device-local.
